Refund and cancellation policy

Rescheduling a class

You can reschedule any class free of charge with at least 12 hours’ notice, as often as you need. Give notice by WhatsApp or email.

Inside 12 hours the class is counted as taught, because the slot cannot realistically be refilled at that notice. The exception is illness or a genuine emergency, where the class is simply moved at no cost. This is applied in good faith and not audited.

If the tutor has to cancel for any reason, the class is not deducted and is replaced at a time that suits you.

Single classes

If you are unhappy with a paid single class, tell us within seven days and that class is refunded in full. No explanation is required.

Class packs

Unused classes in a pack are refundable in full within 30 days of purchase. After 30 days, unused classes remain usable but are no longer refundable.

Packs are valid for six months from the date of purchase. If illness, exams or travel make that impossible, ask and the validity will be extended — this has never been refused.

Where a partial refund applies, classes already taught are charged at the standard single-class rate rather than the discounted pack rate, and the balance is returned.

The trial class

The trial class is free and there is nothing to refund. No payment details are collected in order to book it.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are paid by Tutorwyz Tech India LLP, the company that owns and operates TutorWyz and that took the original payment. They go back by the same method you paid, normally within five working days of being agreed. Where a payment provider charged a fee that they do not return to us, that fee is deducted and itemised.

Currency movement between payment and refund is not compensated in either direction; you receive the same nominal amount in the currency you paid.

Asking for a refund

Message hellotutorwyz.com or WhatsApp +91 83683 86971 with your name and what you would like refunded. You will get a reply within one working day.
