These terms cover tutoring provided through TutorWyz, which is owned and operated by Tutorwyz Tech India LLP — the company referred to below as “we” and “us”. Booking a class means accepting them. They are written to be read, not to be skipped.

Who the agreement is with

The agreement is between you and Tutorwyz Tech India LLP, which owns and operates TutorWyz and provides the classes. Classes are booked by a parent or guardian, who is responsible for payment and for the arrangements. Students are minors and are not party to this agreement.

What is provided

Live, one-to-one online classes of the length booked, taught by the named tutor, together with the lesson materials and a written monthly progress report. Classes run on Zoom or Google Meet with a shared whiteboard.

No specific grade, mark or examination result is promised. Tutoring supports a student’s own work; it does not replace it, and outcomes depend on effort between classes as much as on the classes themselves.

What you need

A device with a working camera and microphone and a connection stable enough for video. If a class cannot proceed because of a problem at your end, it is counted as taught. If the problem is at the tutor’s end, it is not, and it is rescheduled at no cost.

Scheduling and cancellation

Classes are booked to an agreed weekly slot. Rescheduling, cancellation and refunds are governed by the refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

Payment

Prices are published on the pricing page in US dollars, and you are charged the published amount in US dollars. Single classes are payable in advance of each class or weekly; packs are payable in advance in full. Tutorwyz Tech India LLP issues an invoice for every payment.

Prices may change, but a change never affects classes already paid for or a pack already purchased. You will be given at least 30 days’ notice before a change applies to your ongoing classes.

Conduct

Classes should be a place where a child can be wrong out loud without embarrassment. Abusive or threatening behaviour towards the tutor, from a student or a parent, ends the arrangement immediately with unused classes refunded.

Equally, if the tutor believes she is not the right person to help your child, she will say so and help you find someone who is, rather than continue taking payment.

Materials

Worksheets, notes and plans are provided for the use of the enrolled student and their family. Please do not redistribute or resell them. Anything your child produces belongs to your child.

Recording

Classes are not recorded by default. Either side may ask for a recording and it requires the other’s agreement. Recordings are shared with the family and then deleted.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the date above changes and active families are told by email. Continuing to book classes after that means accepting the revised terms.
