How do I know if my child needs a tutor?

The signal is rarely the grade itself. It is homework that takes far longer than it should, a child who understands in class but cannot start the exercise at home, a subject they have begun describing as something they are bad at, or a widening gap between effort and result. One poor test is not a signal; a pattern across a term usually is. If you are unsure, the trial assessment will tell you plainly — including when the answer is that they do not need one.
